Which None Can Shut was a great book that really makes you think beyond your own little world. The book is written by Reema Goode, a missionary in the Middle East. She and her family are there to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with a Muslim world. In the book, Goode shares little snippets of what her life is like on a day-to-day basis. She also wants everyone to know that the Lord is truly working and making Himself known to these devout Muslims. The book is a quick, easy read, but it really challenges you to think about the importance of taking the gospel to all nations. I really enjoyed the book and have learned things about the Muslim culture that I didn’t know before.

I have two books on the go the first is “Women, Food, and God” it has given me a very healthy perspective on food and made me rethink the way I eat.
The second book is “The Cellist of Saravejo” which I’m just beginning to dive into and love.
Right now I’m reading an ARC of Homemade Haunting by Rob Stennett and I just finished Bound by Guilt by C.J. Darlington. Good authors, good books.

I’m reading a book called “Bloodroot”. I can’t remember who recommended it, but so far it’s good!
I’m reading the Mountain of Silence.
That sounds interesting!
I am actually reading a book that talks about the Muslim religion as well. It is “The fight of our Lives” by William Bennett. I have been reading the Voice of the Martyrs magazine aloud to my kids lately and it has really impressed on us the deep need for Christ’s love to be shared in the Middle East and other Muslim Countries.
We have also been enjoying some lighter reading. I just finished reading “The Family nobody Wanted” by Helen Doss aloud to my kids- It was so fun! Today we started “Pilgrims Progress”.
